No joke, I think I needed this article. Im turning 28 this year and Ive really found myself in a rut career wise. Doesnt help that I havent worked in 2 weeks because of the holiday season. Ive been falling asleep at 5am thus waking up around 2pm. Its horrible. I said mutiple times at the end of last year that 2015 was to be "my year" and I think rules that youve stated above will help in doing so.

Yeah, I know how that feels. It's not a good place. I'm glad this could help you. Check out that guy's podcast or book. I listen to it when I'm feeling particularly unmotivated, and it puts me in the right mindset. Most importantly, set up a game plan and make and track your progress everyday (a little bit more everyday, not all at once). When you see yourself making strides toward your goal, you get motivated thinking about how great it will be the further you go, and it really pushes it in a positive direction. Good luck!
